Practice is suggested but not required. Course fully marked by Friday Afternoon (25th).

 

Timeline

 

7:00am

Registration opens at bottom of the trail on the side of Travers Ridge Rd. Here you will signs wavers, register with USA Cycling (if you are currently not registered), register for the race and receive a number. Pro licenses can’t be purchased at this event. Go to www.usacycling.org to process these licenses. All riders must have a USA Cycling license.

Racer debriefing

This race will be run as a time trial two run format with racers going at 1-minute intervals.

 

8:30am

Mens upper begins race, Boys upper on trailhead prepared. All other start times will be posted as the race progresses

 

Please be at the start gate early. If you miss your seeded start time you may not get a timed run. Just make sure you're on time for your start. You should be at the trail head no later than 10 min prior to the start of your division. A shuttle will be provided at an additional $5 per rider. Please use shuttle or another ride as there will be little to no parking at the trail head.

 

Registration

Race registration will be $45 per applicant. If you are not licensed with USA Cycling you will need a one day registration to race in the Draper Downhill which will be $10 additional to race registration. Cash only for race day registration.

 

Maple Hollow Downhill trail

This is approximately a 2-mile Downhill course begins at the Maple Hollow trail head. This trail will have small kicker’s tight turns with a few fun features, all ending on Travers Ridge Rd.

 

Format

Downhill race will be a two-Run format. Your best time is your final time.

 

Parking

Parking will be located at the bottom of the tail. Racers are encouraged to car pool.

 

Please note that there is no parking where you would not normally be able to legally park. Also please leash your pets if you plan on bringing them to the races.

 

Awards

The Downhill Award Ceremony will take place 30min after final racer crosses the finish line or a.s.a.p. Award Ceremonies will take place near the registration desk at the finish line.

 

Top finisher in each Cat/Class (including Pros) will receive a prize
